Your adventure typically begins at a Miami Beach marina, where you meet your captain and board your private boat. After a quick safety briefing, the cruise starts with a scenic ride through the beautiful waters surrounding Miami Beach. As the boat heads toward the sandbar, you’ll often pass some of the city’s most iconic waterfront sights, including the famous celebrity homes around Star Island and the impressive Miami skyline. The ride itself is part of the experience, with calm waters, ocean breezes, and incredible photo opportunities along the way. After about 20 to 30 minutes of cruising, the boat arrives at one of Miami’s popular sandbars. These unique shallow areas form naturally in Biscayne Bay and usually have water depths between 2 and 4 feet, making them perfect for standing, swimming, and relaxing in the warm Florida water. Once anchored, the real fun begins. Most sandbar tours include floating mats or lily pads, which allow you to lounge comfortably on the water with friends.
