PROTECT THE NATURE WITH AQUARIUS

1. Plastic Balloons

Due to their negative impact on marine life, balloons have been banned from our operations since 2019. Specifically, when released into the environment, balloons can be mistaken for food by marine animals, leading to ingestion and entanglement, which can cause injury, suffocation, and death.

Starting from the beginning of 2024, the city of Miami has implemented a new ban on the usage of all types of balloons on public property or at city events. This ban includes helium balloons, latex balloons, and other types of balloons that could potentially cause harm to the environment and marine life.

The city authorities have imposed heavy fines of up to $500 for anyone who violates this ban. The primary goal of this ban is to protect the environment and preserve the marine life in Miami. The city hopes that this ban will encourage residents and visitors to explore alternative ways to celebrate without harming the environment.

2. Plastic Cups

We kindly request our passengers to refrain from bringing any plastic cups on board. We take pride in minimizing plastic waste and pollution, and therefore, we have opted for biodegradable paper cups as an eco-friendly alternative. These cups are made from renewable resources and decompose quickly, reducing the negative impact on the environment. By using these cups, we hope to encourage sustainable practices and promote a cleaner and safer planet for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

3. Reef Safe Sunscreen

As part of our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our oceans, we offer complimentary reef-safe sunscreen to all of our guests. Our sunscreen is specially formulated to be free of harmful chemicals that can damage delicate coral ecosystems. By choosing to use our reef-protecting sunscreen, you are also helping to support ongoing coral conservation efforts. Thank you for joining us in our mission to protect our planet's precious resources.

4. Straws

Over the past few years, there has been a growing concern about the impact of plastic waste on the environment, particularly on marine ecosystems. To address this issue, many countries and cities have implemented a ban on single-use plastic items, including straws. Straws are one of the most commonly used plastic items, and they contribute significantly to the plastic waste that ends up in oceans and other bodies of water. By banning straws, we can reduce the amount of plastic waste that is generated, and help protect the wildlife that depend on these ecosystems for survival.

5. Boat Maintenance

At Aquarius Boat Rental Miami Beach, all maintenance work is performed away from our marina to ensure that the environment remains free from any potential harm or damage. This practice not only guarantees the safety of the surrounding ecosystem but also allows us to maintain a clean and sustainable environment for all who use the dock. By conducting all maintenance operations off-site, we minimize any potential risks to the environment, which is one of our top priorities.

6. Boat Cleaning

At Aquarius, we are committed to preserving the environment and aquatic habitats. To achieve this, we use only biodegradable cleaning products for our boats. Unlike traditional cleaning products that contain harmful chemicals, biodegradable cleaning products are made from natural ingredients that decompose quickly and do not leave any residue in the water. By using these products, we not only protect the water quality but also ensure the safety of marine life. We believe that it is our responsibility to minimize our impact on the environment, and using biodegradable cleaning products is just one of the ways we contribute towards achieving this goal.

7. Bridges

Our fleet of boats is selected in such a way that they can easily navigate under every bridge of Biscayne Bay without the need for any opening. Thanks to their appropriate size, we can avoid any disruptions to the wildlife habitats and ecosystems of the area. This is particularly beneficial for our neighbors who can enjoy the tranquility of the bay without the disturbance of bridge openings. Our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the area is reflected in every aspect of our operations, and we are proud to offer this service to our community.

3-hour boat ride is our best seller in terms of duration because you have enough time to explore the best sightseeing in Miami and you can anchor, swim, relax and party. Oftentimes our guests request an extension but 3-hour is definitely the perfect timing to get started.

The giant boats are the perfect compromise for comfort, space and reasonable prices. There are definitely our best sellers, and this is why we own two of them.

Imagine exploring Miami's virgin islands on the bay: crystal clear water, raccoon, manatees, and tropical jungle. Getting this experience in one of the biggest cities in the United States is surreal, but at Aquarius Boat Rental and Tours, we make it happen!

Boating in the Bay is totally safe for the little ones. This is a kid-friendly activity in Miami. They enjoy the ride, speed and even jumping in the water for the bigger kids.

Of course,  we provide life jackets for babies and toddlers. Life vests are not mandatory for kids over 6 years old but we will still have them on board.

Make sure to let us know how many children will attend if it's more than 2 so we can plan ahead.

Time goes quickly on a boat so 4 hours will pass like a blink of an eye. There are so many things to see and explore from a boat in Miami that 4 hours is not enough. Our best seller is 3-hour but usually people extend their trip to 4 hours.
